These were unexpectedly tight. Excellent quality fabric though, but the fitting is very snug. If that is the look you are going for then buy the same size as the girl wears, otherwise we now purchase one size larger for a more comfortable fit. The cotton is really soft and the ribbing is small.

It is a very small shirt. They run very short. Order one size up. If your child needs an xl, then order a women's small. This worked well for my daughter , who wears a size 12 in children's clothing!
